<statement>Levantamento hidrográfico do município de Joinville, tratando-se de um dado prévio a ser verificado, quando necessário, em campo. Foi elaborado em diversas etapas, iniciando pelas Bacias Hidrográficas do Rio Cachoeira, Vertentes Leste e Sul e parte da Bacia do Rio Cubatão, onde utilizou-se como ponto de partida a restituição aerofotogramétrica do ano de 1989. Através de trabalhos de campo, foi realizado o levantamento hidrográfico de algumas bacias de Joinville, que foi traçado manualmente em mapas impressos, na escala 1:10.000. Esses mapas foram digitalizados, georreferenciados e vetorizadas. Esses dados foram revisados e cruzados com as restituições aerofotogramétricas de 2007 e 2010 e com os projetos da Unidade de Drenagem da Secretaria de Infraestrutura Urbana (SEINFRA), bem como, novos trabalhos de campo. A quarta etapa do trabalho consistiu no "levantamento prévio", com a divisão no território ainda não mapeado através da camada “Sub-Bacias” disponibilizada no banco de dados da PMJ. A partir disso, iniciou-se a análise de cada sub-bacia através das curvas de nível da restituição de 2010 – a fim de localizar os possíveis talvegues – e cruzamento com os dados das restituições de 1989, 2007 e 2010, além da interpretação da ortofoto do ano de 2010. A partir disso, foram traçados os possíveis cursos d’água e suas nascentes. A partir do mês de outubro de 2017, foi dada maior ênfase no levantamento prévio em escritório, através da interpretação da ortofoto de 2010 e das restituições aerofotogramétricas, em ambiente SIG. Nas áreas antropizadas, optou-se utilizar uma escala de trabalho de 1:2.000 para traçar os possíveis cursos d’água. Nas áreas mais preservadas do município – escarpa da Serra do Mar, planalto e borda da Baía da Babitonga – o levantamento foi realizado através da utilização da restituição hidrográfica do ano de 2010.
